Other mods have sprung up around the DayZ mod including DayZ Epoch. Epoch, amoungst other things, adds a currency, trading system and base building.Īs the game is a MMO game, it uses a centralised server. In addition to this, Epoch also introduces a new system called Bounties which rewards players for completing specific objectives.
There are many of these servers out there and a number of hosting companies allow you to rent them as a full package (game installed etc). Epoch is a new dayz mod that aims to improve upon the vanilla game by adding features such as new vehicles, weapons and clothing.
